QureTech Bio appoints new CEO: "Strive to bring our substances to clinical trials"

Umeå based QureTech Bio, a biotechnology company developing novel antibiotics and anti-infectives, has appointed Markus Thor as the new Chief Executive Officer.
“Along with the team, I will strive to bring our substances to clinical trials”, he states.

Markus Thor brings 30 years of experience in the private and public pharmaceutical industry and biotech. He has a proven track record of successful leadership and business development in R&D-focused biotech companies within a range of therapeutic areas.

Markus Thor replaces Helén Fält who is leaving upon her request and will now start a new position as Commercial Manager at Apotek Produktion & Laboratorier (APL) in Umeå.

"We are delighted to welcome Markus as the new CEO of QureTech Bio. He has the vision, expertise, and leadership skills to take the company to the next level of growth and success. We are confident that he will build on the strong foundation that Helén has established and lead QureTech Bio to achieve its full potential. Markus Thor on his new assignment:
